Wow–after four Christmas get together’s in three days (three of which required two hour drives), I’m just plain beat. But it’s time to look back at the past year in book land to see what sticks out. So here’s a list of the books I absolutely adored in 2012 in no particular order (just however the popped into my overstimulated and overtired now on a much needed vacation). It was such a surprise when JL Bryan announced that he was continuing the Paranormals series trilogy with a book four, and Jenny Plague-Bringer did not disappoint. This was the strongest book in the series, in my opinion, and I loved every second of it. (my review)

The Charley Davidson Series by Darynda Jones — This excellent series featuring a snarky female Grim Reaper has shot to the top of my favorite Urban Fantasy series lists, and I devoured the four available books quickly. I’ve seen Gone Girl on a few lists so far and really have to order and read it soon. Pushing the Limits unfortunately wasn’t on my favourites list, but I’ll definitely try out Katie’s next book:)
