Posted 31 August, 2012 by Danny in Blog Tour, Danny / 58 Comments

The last 2 weeks the Iron Fey Saga has been on Blog Tour. We had some amazingly awesome Tour Stops and posts that tried (yes mainly they just tried..) to concince you which court is the best.

Today as a last tour stop, it’s my turn to tell you something about the Iron Court, why it rocks hard core and why.. there is actaully no other real choice here!

Together with the Harlequin Blog of Awesome and the wonderful Pam from Boclicous together we represent the Iron Court. Glitch brought you on a Tour through the Iron Fey Realm and if you don’t know yet who Glitch is… you will meet him in The Lost Prince…

Why the Iron Realm rocks!

by Danny- IronFey -Obsessed-Bookworm

1. The Iron Realm combines all that is awesome about the Summer and Winter Court with the addition of being technically advanced. Seriously, Ash definitely brings his icy-self into this realm. Meghan herself brings in the summer and the Iron… well! It’s the Iron Realm Folks..

2. Could you live without your Phone-Notebook-iPad-Kindle-whateverGadget?

No?

See? Me neither! That’s why the Iron Realm is the place for you!

3. Weather. Think about it, Summer is always warm and hot, which means basically sweating.. (Thanks Jenny for pointing that out) and Winter? There’s it’s always cold and freezing! Do you want to loose your toe? Don’t think so! The Iron Real has the perfect weather!

4. *sigh* Ash… I know you all think Ash is the perfect Winterboy.. well, he was – but after reading The Iron Knight you know that this is not true anymore! So if you wanna meet famous Ice Boy? Iron Realm my friends!

5. Since Ash is unfortunately not available anymore  (it’s true girls, let’s face reality!) we have to change our focus to the next round of boyish obsession and here’s where the Iron Realm will totally win against all two other courts!

(and here comes my most sexiest and hottest and most awesome reasons, that will totally sell my point!)

Ethan and Keirran

holy  awesome!

Both boys belong to the Iron Realm, even though Ethan totally would rather … not! But Keirran *swoons* he is a mix of perfection! He can combine any magic from all three court and he’s *faints*

Girls. Once you meet those two boys you will forget about good old Ash!

I could go on and on about those two boys, but.. you must meet them yourself in The Lost Prince! (more info see below) And, if you were for any other realm before – after meeting the Iron Realm in its full glory in The Lost Prince you will forget about allt he rest!

Reading The Lost Prince will change you! Mark my words!

Seriously, if you would have asked me before The Lost Prince I would have been Winter through and through. Now? The Iron Realm FTW! I soo wanna live there .. forever! (Best scenario with Keirran, but I’d take Ethan too – I wouldn’t mind so much)

Hey. I could still take my eReader, read and blog! None of the other ones can offer you the same!

You must… read… this book!

The Lost Prince

October 23rd 2012 by Harlequin Teen

Don’t look at Them. Never let Them know you can see Them.

That is Ethan Chase’s unbreakable rule. Until the fey he avoids at all costs—including his reputation—begin to disappear, and Ethan is attacked. Now he must change the rules to protect his family. To save a girl he never thought he’s dare to fall for.

Ethan thought he had protected himself from his older sister’s world—the land of Faery. His previous time in the Iron Realm left him with nothing but fear and disgust for the world Meghan Chase has made her home, a land of myths and talking cats, of magic and seductive enemies. But when destiny comes for Ethan, there is no escape from a danger long, long forgotten.

My name is Ethan Chase. And I may not live to see my eighteenth birthday.

  1. You make a good point about technology Danny, I’ll give you a point for that! I’m completely addicted to my computer and Kindle, and at this point, am not sure I could continue living without them. I needs them:) Really looking forward to reading the Lost Prince and meeting this Kierran!

  2. I am the BIGGEST fan of Julia Kagawa’s! I chose the Iron Court because it has Prince Ash first off. He is my dream prince!! And because my Kindle would work there. Thanks for the giveaway! I wish I would have been apart of this tour. It looks so fun!

I chose the Iron Court because it seems to me as though they would be a lot more fair to their subjects than the other courts.

  4. I guess I’ll go with Iron. I’ve been back and forth the whole time. The thing is, I know winter is too cold for me, but summer is might be too warm. I’m just a fan of nature and you know that the Iron realm doesn’t have too much of that so that left me unsure. So maybe I’m slightly torn between Summer and Iron, but maybe I’ll go with Iron for now.

I chose Summer Court because of my cheerful and bubbly personality. I don’t think i would fit in Winter Court. Although i do like technology, i am not totally crazy about it.

  6. I picked the Iron Court as I did not like who was ruling the other 2, and I am a little bit OCD, and I like how they seem to have everything scheduled out that they need to do, and they have all the cool gadgets to play with!

I picked Iron Court because not only does it combine all the courts (Summer/Iron-Meghan, and Winter-Ash) but also because it seems like the most controlled court and therefore the preferred place to live. In the Summer and Winter Courts I’d be very much afraid of the rulers but not with Meghan. She’s pretty level headed. 🙂

Iron Court- Ash. Need I say more? <3
Lets not forget Keirran, and yeah, keeping my technology is just a bonus!
Annnnnnnd I definitely think Megan is an amazing queen.

  9. GAAAH!! I love this, I love this! <3 I chose the Iron Court because I was absolutely in love and so pleased with Julie's theory of the Iron element and how the music analogy ties in. Since music is such a big part of my life, I was able to really understand and appreciate both the technical and artistic parts of the concept and I think she couldn't have come up with a better perspective for the Iron Court! Plus, it's Meghan's court!! 8D
