Happy Friday Welcome to our Friday Feature!

My Friday Love is a weekly meme, where we want to share what we loved during this past week…

My Friday Love is…

Beautiful Disaster on NetGalley

Just this week I finished a book that I loved so so so deeply! Now, it’s on READ NOW on NetGalley and I had to share this with all of you guys!!

Beautiful Disaster  Jamie McGuire  is a powerful book and an emotional book that will take you on a roller coaster of heartbreak and love!!! You will either love or hate it.. I loved it and I’m going to review it on Monday!!! this book has a quite interesting history. It’s first been self-published and then aquired from Simon & Schuster due to the terrific feedback this book got! I think there are still several versions avilable, but I read the copy from S&S from NetGalley

Jamie McGuire wrote a powerful book and fans of edgy, sexy  New Adult genre should check this out.

Warning: This book is not for younger teens, it contains violence, langugae and sexual content! (I … LOVED it …lol)

Can’t wait to share my thoughts with you on Monday!

Here I give you a little Teaser Quote…

Much Friday Love,

  1. I read the book when it was self-published, but unfortunately didn’t like the relationship between Abby and Travis. It was too volatile(in an abusive way) for my liking. Plus, the whole ‘Pigeon” thing was annoying. 😛
I’m glad you loved it though. 🙂

Yes it was really really intense. But that’s why I loved it so much!! And I truly think you either love or hate it, I’m a big fan!!

  2. Oh I’m getting a copy of this from S&S Canada when it comes out in August (I know it was self pubbed before but I imagine it was cleaned up a bit etc) (I also know it’s on NG but I rather read a print and they offered so why not). I’m VERY curious dude this book has so much drama and extremely mixed opinions! Who can pass that up and miss the hubbub? haha. I really hope I’ll like it!

Oh yes I read some really really bad reviews about this one! .. after I read this book and luckly I went into reading this book without knowing much about drama and those negative reviews. Which was good!

And, I ended up absolutely loving the fierceness of this book! I’m looking forward to hear what you think!

  3. I received this from NetGalley last week and am immensely curious about it, given all the drama surrounding the book and author. I’m glad to hear you loved it, and hope that I wind up in that camp, too, when I’m done.

By the way, I _love_ your graphics! Such a pretty blog 🙂

  4. This seems to be one of those really divisive kind of books .

From everything I’ve read you are either totally in love or hate with a 1000 hates! lol

I’m not sure if it’s the right book for me but it’s great to see a book that has everyone talking.

  5. I haven’t read this one even though the self-published version has been sitting on my kindle for months. I’ll check out NetGalley for the S&S edition. Thanks for the heads-up. I look forward to reading your review 🙂

Yup, I think you should rather go and get the edited version!! I mean, maybe they didn’t change much, but still, if there is the opportunity then why not! 🙂

  6. That good huh? I just got a NetGalley email about this one but didn’t really pay it much attention. I think I should reconsider Danny! I’m loving this “new adult” category:)

Have a great weekend my dear!

I read Beautiful Disaster a while ago and it has stayed with me ever since. I love that this got picked up by S&S, that so many people read and loved this book. I know I will forever love Beautiful Disaster and I definitely can’t wait for Walking Disaster. Yay lol.

  8. Oh, was this the one with the author bad behavior drama llama? Interesting…

Not sure I’m into this (it’s rare I like emotional-type books) but I’ll definitely check out your review and keep an open mind!

  9. I picked this book up last year when it was still the self pubbed book because I loved the cover. I can’t believe I still haven’t read it, but I held off after all the controversy over it. It definitely seems to be a book that strikes a chord in people, it is a love it or hate it read and I am happy to hear it was positive for you, Danny. Looking forward to your review.

I am so sad I didn’t know anything about the drama surrounding this book. I just picked it up because I liked the synopsis! I am glad I did read it like this because I seriously loved it!

I just got this one via Netgalley for their “read now” special. I’m really looking forward to it! It reminded me sort of “Fight Club” but umm…with more romance. lol

  11. That’s on my invisible to-read list, meaning I don’t want to add it until I can read some other books on my real to-read list. Hahaha. I have so many to-read lists and the longer it gets the more shameful I feel.

Once I heard Atria picked it up, I decided to wait for the edited version. It might not even be that big of a difference, but if the quality improved, then I can wait.

  13. Hello! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an
established blog. Is it very difficult to set up your own
blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I’m thinking about making my
own but I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any tips or suggestions? Thank you
