Hi, everyone! After an exhausting but fun week in New York at Book Expo America, I’ve returned with a lot of books. I have one preorder that came in the mail and I’ll feature a few of the books from BEA that I’m most excited about. First up, I preordered MaryJanice Davidson’s eleventh book in the Undead series, Undead and Unstable.

I’m usually not a cover kind of girl, but this one drew me in. But once I read the description and it seems science-y, I was sold. I had this on my list before I even stepped foot inside the Javits center.

This book wasn’t on my radar until I met Jenny Han at the Book Blogger Convention on Monday and Siobhan Vivian at the Teen Author Carnival on Tuesday. They were so enthusiastic and the book sounded soooo good, I just had to pick up a copy!

This was another one that wasn’t on my radar until I met the author. All four of us Bookworms that were in New York for BEA met Katie McGarry on Sunday before BEA started, and she is such a sweet, smart, genuinely nice woman–and she was a lot of fun! Burn For Burn sounds like a great book, I haven’t heard of it before today but I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for it! The cover for Eve and Adam looks amazing, and it sounds like an intriguing story – I remember reading some Katherine Applegate books when I was young, so I’ll be interested to see what this is like. I haven’t read Jenny Han’s books before, but I’d heard of them. I’ve just been stuck in a pattern of supernatural YA when I’ve read it. All of these books look amazing, so I hope they hold up to my expectations!

I really want to read Eve and Adam. I am in the middle of Gone Girl and loving it. Can’t wait until after work today so I can hopefully finish it tonight. It is just so good. I read your review last week and that is what made me pick up the ARC from my tbr pile! Enjoy your books!

GONE GIRL was great! I just interviewed Gillian on HuffPo. Have you read SHARP OBJECTS? I think that’s one of the creepiest books I’ve ever read. My dad just read it and said the same thing.
