It’s Friday people!!!!! Also, we have another edition of My Reading Spot!
I have such a super cute and sweet guest today: Elodie from Once upon A Quote. I found her blog because she often leaves the cutest comments here and I was glad I did… I was happy to find that she’s an “international” blogger just like me, because she lives in beautiful France. (I bet she has the cutest accent!!) I’m always excited to find bloggers just like me who love to read English books! Elodie studies English at College which I think it’s super awesome. But, even more awesome is that she soon heads of for a semester in Dublin at the famous Trinity College… Hello??? Fever Fans out there? When I heard this I was freaking out – because that’s seriously awesome! She follows the step of Mac – maybe she will meet Barrons? I’m jealous but also insanely happy for her. I hope she shares some awesome experiences with us! Elodie writes wonderful reviews and since we have a similar taste, I know I have to visit her blog as often as I can. For some very weird reason she gave me a nickname and started calling me her “Evil Friend”, maybe… because I introduced her to some books I was super excited about… Maybe… ;))
Anyways, Elodie shares her favorite Reading Spots with us, and I hope she comes back when she found some awesome Spots in Dublin 🙂
Hey guys !! First I’d like to thank the Bewitched Bookworms girls for inviting me on their blog and let me be a part of this amazing feature. I absolutely adore their blog and check it daily so I’m really honored to be here. Here we go !!
I actually have one very predictable reading spot and it ‘s my bed, I could lie down all day with a book and be the happiest girl in the world, lol. I loooove my bed because it ‘s very comfy !
I’m also always in good company because I have my Toy Story cuddly toy with me, hehe ! I usually do most of my reading during the weekend in the afternoon and during the week in the evening but now that I’m on vacation for a period of 4 months (YAY I love French Uni) I can read whenever I want 🙂 !!
I also have a little shelf by my bed with all the books I have yet to read. There’s also, as I like to call it, my bookmarks’ cup : it’s a Starbucks cup that I brought back home from London. It might seem a bit weird to those who have Starbucks Coffee everywhere near their home but in France we don’t have any (except in Paris) so it reminds me of my trips and my love for their coffee and frappucinos. YUM YUM
As I’ve told you most of my reading is done on my bed but as soon as the sun shows up I usually go outside and read on my deckchair by the pool and right next to my dogs. Guinness (the youngest) is always watching me read .. Yeah she’s a smart dog, nope I guess she stays there in case I might give her a little snack 🙂 ! Anyway it’s the perfect spot to read as it also enables me to tan a bit ( but not much since I have a very fair complexion .. mostly I get sunburned, lol).

See? she did it again.. Evil Friend.. ;)) Again, I so looove seing these pictures!! I have a high addition to Starbucks, whenever I see a Starbucks I HAVE to get a coffee and… a mug, since I’m collecting them! Seriously, how cute are you??? Having a Toy Story to cuddle?

I looooove that bed. It looks so cozy! And I wish we had some awesome chairs/spots outside to read. Although I admit I usually want to stay in the shadow, since I burn more easily than tan too! Lol. Alsooooo, such a cute dog. :DD

The bed looks SO comfy. I’m in the process of giving mine a makeover. I love reading outside too, I don’t burn easily but I usually sit in the shade myself. 😉

I have planters I keep my bookmarks in (never been used) and love the idea of a starbucks cup, especially since it’s special to you.

I started following her a long time ago before she took her break from blogging and I’m so glad she came back to the blogging world!

Hi Danny. I see you got a well furnished & decorated bedroom there. Pretty cool. That chair outside is just perfect to keep reading your favorite book while having sunbath! Loved that.

Awesome reading areas and as a coffee addicted I get the star-bucks cup. Do you have Costa coffee houses? I dream of going their ..somewhere over the pond since we do not have them in the US and my last name is Costa…LOL
