Who would enjoy those books?Oh I think all people that enjoy a light, funny and quick Vampire story mixed with lot’s of friendship and sweet innocent romance, plus strong and developing characters! Like Vamp stories ? Then go ahead and pick them up!Each book is a very fast read since the books are not big, so they are easily read in between and I highly enjoyed the series and definitely will read the next books!

This weeks question is
Have you had a character that disappointed you? One that you fell in love with and then “broke up” with later on in either the series or a stand-alone book? Tell us about him or her. and comes from Book That Thing
Wow… so that is a hard question!!!! But it’s an awesome one and I’m excited to check what you all have to say!! Hm but I’m not sure I have a satisfying answer because I cannot recall this ever happend. The closest would be Katniss from The Hunger Games. I loved her in the first book but then in MockingJay she was so uninterested and lethargic, I didn’t like her as much anymore…
I know this is quite lame…. but I think about this question some more and maybe come back later!
Happy Friday and Much Love,
And now link up your post if also want to share some Friday Love!:

Great choice! Now that I think about it there are quite a few characters I’m now remembering that annoy me. Haha! I’m an old follower through RSS, Google Reader. 😉

I didn’t know any character. Sure, some folks I liked a little less and then more, but.. that’s kind of it. I’m sure there are some, but I just don’t remember. :’D

I didn’t hate Gale as much. My feeling about him was that Suzanne wanted Katniss together with Peeta … It was not all Gale’s fault lool!
Have a wonderful weekend yourself!

I loved Joe Fontaine in The Sky Is Everywhere, but then he refused to forgive Lennie so I got so so angry. But he redeemed himself in the end by seeing the error in his ways. So I loved him again:)

Happy Friday! I would definitely have to say Gale from the Hunger Games, although I had my moments with Katniss as well.

Katniss was so passive in the early beginning of Mockingjay and I didn’t feel she was a true heroine even within her… I mainly felt sorry for Gale…
Happy Friday!

Happy Friday! I haven’t read Mockingjay yet, putting it off because I don’t want to go there yet. Thanks for the Friday Love Giveaway. Morganville is a series I have been wanting to check out forever. You can bet I will be by next week for your Sweet Evil epic post, looking forward to it. Have a great weekend, Danny.

I agree with you about Katniss in Mockingjay. She just wasn’t the strong main character I wanted for the beginning of the final book.
Happy Friday, though! And have a great weekend. 😀

Sigh….I have mixed feelings about Katniss in the end.

I understand what you say about Katniss but the momentum that was raised in the first two books carried thru in the third for me. I wasn’t disappointed there. I don’t remember being disappointed by any other character, either.

My email was recorded incorrectly in the entry blank that asked for it. It is correct here in this post, Thaks!

I love the Morganville Vampires. I really liked the Hunger Games trilogy but can see how Katniss disappointed you. I was more upset with Gale. I thought he should have more character and stand up to the challenge.

I’m sure there are others that have annoyed me, though I can’t think of them right now, but I’m going to go with Riley Blackthorne in the Demon Trappers series. I loved her character right up until the end of the second book, when she did something so incredibly stupid and uncharacteristic that I wanted to stop reading the book right there. I’d already pre-ordered the third book, though, so I’ll force myself to read it, however, this may be the end of the road for me!

I definitely agree about Katniss seeming uninterested by the end of the series. I really hated to see that. :/
Sorry for my late reply! Thank you for hopping by for FF!

I haven’t finished reading all of the Hunger Games novels yet, so I can’t say anything about that , but this question got me thinking! Everyone will probably laugh at this, but I’m gonna say Edward Cullen. LOL. At first I thought he was endearing and sweet, but now his behaviour seems obsessive and perhaps even a bit creepy X) I became Team Jacob in the second book anywho, he seemed the better of the two, in my opinion!
Thanks for the awesome giveaway, as well! I picked up the second book when it was on sale at a local book store, but I still need the first one! Hehe! 😀
