Hello, dear reader, and welcome to:

Weekly meme from The Story Siren. The idea is to post the books you got this week, whether you bought them, got them as a gift, from the library, or received them to review.
I’m so very excited to be joining you all again for another IMM post!
I’ve had a really great week so let’s dive into what I’ve got:

Books that were free on Amazon:

Books for Review

Thank you so much to the folks at Point, Tor and HarlequinTeen and to the author, Joseph Robert Lewis, for giving me the chance to review these books!!!

Books bought:

Audiobooks from my library

I so COMPLETELY ADORE my library, CPL, for allowing me to borrow audiobooks!  Here’s what I got recently:
I’m so super-de-duper excited about all my reads!!
And please do let me know what you got this week!
I definitely want to know which of the books you are most excited to read!
Now go and get lost….in a book!
The following two tabs change content below.
Lover of words and authors; absolute fan girl of books! Give me a good story, with characters I can love (and hate) and I'll follow you anywhere. Sing me a song of worlds I can dream of, and I'll listen forever.

I really enjoyed it! The cliffhanger at the very end was phenomenal! I’m looking forward to reading that too, but I have a couple in my Kindle queue before it. *sigh* Why must I work and have a family when all I want to do is read???? I jest, I jest… sort of. 🙂 Have a great week!!

  3. That’s an impressive haul. And so pretty and good books. I got The immortal Rules too and already started reading. I’m definitely hooked on the story and the characters. And I’m listening to this Dark Endevour since a while, it’s quite amusing.

    Hope you enjoy your books!

Thanks so much!! I’m looking forward to Dark Endeavor, although I started The Knife of Never Letting Go today and it’s A LOT different than I expected, but still really good!

I look forward to hearing what you think about “THe Dark Endeavor”.

I tried to make it through that book but it just seemed to kiddie to me. Or maybe to English. Really…. I couldn’t take it. I found Dean Konntz’s take on Frankenstein to be more appealing.

    But then again… I’m really picky 😉

Interesting!!! It’s rare for you to not enjoy a book, which in a perverse way piques my interest. I’m actually listening to The Knife of Never Letting Go now, but when I get to it, I’ll definitely let you know!

LOLZ! That’s not what Darkfallen would say 😉 I’m one of the pickiest people in da world with books. If it keeps making my eyes roll for about 20 pages I just flopadop it. I normally have very little patience. This is why I consider myself a ferret.

But That book just didn’t sound like kids. Actually it didn’t sound like boys. It sounded like girls… but it was written by a dude, right? I just couldn’t get past all the plays. Maybe if you are a drama geek you’d dig it but it wasn’t for me ;P

But hey… he sold the movie rights so he’s totally doing something right 😉

  5. Everyone seems to be getting and reading Immortal Rules. I have never read her books before so I think I’m going to start with her Iron Fey series. I know I am behind on my books.

The Knife of Never Letting Go looks really interesting, aren’t they turning it into a movie now?

    Happy reading

It was acquired by Lionsgate last October. But…well you know how that goes. I can’t imagine how they would do the visual aspect of “the noise” but it would be fascinating! Thanks for stopping by!!
