In My Mailbox — a cutie edition

In My Mailbox
Weekly meme from The Story Siren
The idea is to post the books you got this week,
whether you bought them, got them as a gift,
from the library, or received them to review. This week’s blogger is cutie.
That’s right, folks.

No need to do a double take.
cutie (if you even remember who I am…)
is back and actually blogging after three months.
Your world is rocked.
I know.
Take a moment to get yourself under control.
*rolls eyes at self*
blah blah blah
In the last three months,
not a single book has shown up in my mailbox.
It’s been a sadness.
I haven’t even been to the library or bought a book…
To say it has been a long and rough final semester
is a tad bit of an understatement.
So you can imagine my excitement when I found a Christmas book
I had bought for meself all those long months ago before the
“semester from hell.”

Description:
The weather outside is frightful, but these stories are delightful! When a huge blizzard (that doesn’t show signs of stopping) hits, Gracetown is completely snowed in. But even though it’s cold outside, things are heating up inside, proving that the holiday season is magical when it comes to love. In three wonderfully (and hilariously!) interconnected tales, YA stars John Green, Lauren Myracle, and Maureen Johnson create a must-have collection that captures all the spirit of the holiday season.

Adorable, no?
My excitement was paramount.
I’m a sucker for Christmas romances.
Past cutie knew that future cutie would need a pick-me -up.
She’s one smart cookie.

My holidays were lookin’ up and I had something to blog about.
Many a w00ts were proclaimed.
Yet… there was more to come.
Nothing could prepare me for the miracle that showed up in my mailbox…

The wonderful kg— the bestie to end all besties–
knowing I hadn’t read a book in months and was beyond sad
to have missed out on all the amazing releases this fall sent me the aforementioned book.
A graduation gift of brain-candy, if you will.
I cried.
My heart swelled.
There might have been a sloppy kiss involving myself and the book cover.
Y’all understand where I’m going with this.
It was a moment.
A moment that has left me quite speechless and extremely grateful…

Tis what I know and what I’ve got.
Make sure to check out other participating blogs/sites!!
But before you scamper off make sure to share with us
which books you acquired this week and
THE one you have been dying to read.
Pleasy Cheesy share with us!

And if I don’t get to post before the end of the year,
HAPPY READING TO ALL
AND TO ALL A GREAT BOOK!!!

I’ll be seein’ you on the flip-side.

*hugs and kisses*

I'm so glad to hear it's cute. I had read all the stories were connected and thought that was extremely clever. Plus, I *heart* John Green.

    Why thank ya.
I totally checked out your blog and I must admit I will have to give some thought to who I'd pick.
See while I adore Hunger Games, Katniss might be my least favorite character, yet she's a total bad ass who pretty much saves… well… no spoilers here, but ya know where I'm going. Then there is Hermione. And what would Harry be without Hermione?! Yerp, a big fat nothing. However, while she is more likable, do her feats of awesomeness out weight those of Katniss… Do ya see why I'm havin' issues picking? Hm….
