Friday means blog love….

Yay for Fridays!!! The week’s almost over and it’s time for a whole love of Blog Love and Networking!

Let’s start with Jen’s Blog Hop.

Each week there is a new question to answer, which is fun and also helps to get to know each other better. This week’s question:

What are you reading now and why are you reading it?

This is Danny answering the question:

Hm, actually , I’m reading 2 books right now. I always have two books since one of those books is typically a audiobook to listen to during the day when I’m at work or driving etc..
So, I listen to the *insert fangirl squee* Shadowfever audiobook and I read Rival
I read Rival because after spending the last two weeks of re-reading the Fever series I needed something light, easy and fun. Plus, I won this book on goodreads “first reads” so I’d love to review it there asap.
Shadowfever…. well, actually this is the third or 4th time I’m reading this damn book right now – in a row. I am in awe! This series sucked me in so deep, there is no way I can let it go, so I’m re-reading again and again and again …

Thank you, Jen for the great question!

Parajunkee is also running a Follow Friday meme that we love.
This weeks question is from
Katy @ Vision Quest Fail

What is the book you are currently ‘pushing’? (Pushing mean trying to get people to read it)

Ok, again Danny is answering…
Ok loool that is the perfect question for this week!! Because (you can roll your eyes at me now) I’m telling everyone who wants to hear it and also those who don’t… that they have to read KMM Fever series!!
And, I was good at it! Pushy finally started listening to the audios (I love her for doing this, because she just does it for me – I simply won’t shut up until she has read them). Then, I convinced the librarian from my Biologie Department to read them. She loved them and now bought Shadowfever in english because she can’t wait.. hehe. Last Monday when we met the first thing she said to me was “What the heck did you do to me???” And the last one I convinced was a new student of mine. She already ordered the first four… Am I good or what? *pats self on the shoulder*

Finally, we’d love to take the opportunity to welcome all the new faces and the old ones too! *waves* Glad you are here and we hope you like it here at the Bewitched Bookworms.

To get an impression about us, this was what we were up to at the Bookworms last week:
  • Uhyesplease gave us a great quote from These Things Hidden by Heather Gudenkauf in this week’s Notable Quotables.
  • Danny confessed to be very much IMPATIENTLY waiting for The Demon Trapper’s Daughter in thise week’s “Waiting on” Wednesday.

And don’t forget!! If you like audiobooks: hop on over to our Audiobook Challenge for 2011! It’s going to be great fun and a great way to enjoy books even when you can’t have one in your hands. Check it out!!

Now go and get lost…in a book!

  1. You're just like my sister – listen to audiobooks during the day, then read a book before sleeping. I tend to not like audiobooks since I have a tendency to get sleepy when I'm just listening, I kind of need to be actually 'reading' to be able to concentrate 🙂

  4. I'm your newest follower! Hopping by to check in; visit in turn if you can.

I'm also a big fan of audio books; that's how I first got into Harry Potter after the book had sat on my nightstand for a year untouched.

The book I'm pushing is Fatty Legs, a terrific story of a girl's unbroken spirit in the face of hostility and alienation.

You can read my review of it here: http://teachwithpicturebooks.blogspot.com/2011/02
