*waves* Hi, I’m Danny and have recently better known as DannyBookworm.
Besides running this Blog here, I got my PhD in Biology and now I’m teaching Bachelor and Master Students at my University.
I always loved to read and my hubs always rolls his eyes when I pack for our holidays and in the luggage are tons of huge books! (That’s why he bought me a Kindle .. and I looooveee my Kindle!) I’m a gadget girl, I LOVE all things and shiny with an Apple, I go nowhere withouht my iPhone, I love my MacBook deeply and I could hug my iPad every day .. *sigh*
I love reading books which bring me into another world and let me life for a few hours somewhere else and be someone else. I’m an extremely emotional person and the best books are those who go straight into my heart.My favorite books … Hard to say, there are so many wonderful and talented people out there. But to name a few
- Fever series by KMM (I’m a real and crazy fangirl),
- The Sweet Evil Trilogy by Wendy Higgins
- Of Poseidon by Anna Banks
- I adore the Iron Fey series from Julie Kagawa
- The Fallen Series by Lauren Kate makes my heart ache
- Meant To Be and “From What I Remember..” were books that totally surprised me by how much I loved them!
- Charley Davidson Series and The Iron Druid Chronicles belong to my favorite Audiobooks ever!
- Fangirl by Rainbow Powell definitely is one of my favorites books from 2013!
and last but soo not least, I am a huge fan of Katie McGarry, who we hosted for a full month in August 2013 as our “Rockstar Author”

My favorite genres.. I read a lot – close to 150 books a year and I love a lot – but a books needs to have a bit of love , romance… heartbreak
- all things YA, paranormal, contemporary
- Paranormal Romance
- New Adult – yeah for New Adult!!
Right now, Dystopian is a genre I try to avoid – but that might change anytime again!
If you want to read a few of my Reviews, please go ahead ! You will find among those posts also some meme’s – I especially love the “Waiting on Wednesday” which brings new books to my attention and I adore doing character Interviews.
Also a favorite meme is “Super Six Sunday” – which we just recently started but seems to hit off pretty well!
